January 14 Virtual Membership Meeting

The next GAPPI Chapter Meeting will be held on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 and will be a virtual meeting.

The charge for the meeting will be the regular meeting fee of $15 for GAPPI members and $20 for non-members.  You will receive one hour of Continuing Education toward your license renewal by participating in the meeting.

Please fill out the registration information at the bottom of the page.  You will receive the logon information for the virtual meeting once we process your registration.  We will open the link at 11:45 am on Tuesday, January 14th.  The actual meeting will start at 12:00 noon with announcements and a welcome by our President.  If you have any problems, please send an email to vernon@ahqi.com or call us at 404-766-1632 (ext. 3) and we can talk you through the process if needed.

Topic: Human Trafficking The Truth About Migrant Caravans- how & why individuals enter the United States in between ports of entry.

Speaker:   Andrew Lerner | Principal Investigator

Bio:  Andrew is a veteran of the United States Navy, and a prior law enforcement officer. He has served in investigative law enforcement roles at the Federal, State and Municipal levels. Andrew’s experience was gained at agencies within Homeland Security, the State of Florida, Texas, and the State of Georgia. While working for the United States Border Patrol, Andrew realized that he had not only a passion, but a knack for locating missing and endangered persons.
Andrew discovered his love for litigation while working on a busy trial team for the District Attorney’s Office.
In January 2024, Andrew pivoted from law enforcement and founded Lerner Consulting LLC. In this current role, Andrew delivers superior investigative and courtroom experience to the private sector.

Andrew is passionate about performing thorough and complete investigations for law firms, businesses, and individuals. Lerner Consulting has a special focus on Personal Injury and Criminal Defense cases. He believes this is where the greatest amount of justice can be achieved.

Andrew believes in the importance of continued education, and he maintains active membership in The Georgia Association of Professional Private Investigators, Inc. (GAPPI), the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (GACDL), and the National Defender Investigator Association (NDIA).
Through these organizations he continually enhances his skill set as a professional investigator.

In his spare time, Andrew enjoys spending time with his family, exploring the outdoors and caring for their chickens and ducks.
